Longmont & Boulder portrait photographer

Plenty of portraits show what someone looks like. I’m after what it’s like to be in a room with them.

Portraits for makers, creatives, entrepreneurs, teens and kids.

How it works

From first call to finished photographs

How we get started

First, a phone call to make sure we’re a good fit. If we are, we set a date and time.

At the session, we take a few minutes to get comfortable. Then I pick up the camera and guide you. Most people stop thinking about the camera and start to enjoy it.

After the session

A private gallery of edited photographs within two weeks, usually less. How many depends on the session: 5 from a short session, 30+ from a portrait session, more from longer ones. I’d rather give you the right frames than every frame.

About

I was watching long before I picked up a camera.

I’m drawn to people: what they do and what they value. I don’t have to share someone’s interests to be invested in them; when I’m with someone, I’m fully present.

Every session starts with a conversation.

Tell me about you and what the photographs are for.
